How do I switch from OpenAI TTS?
Point your OpenAI client's base URL at https://easyvoice.ae/api/v1, use your EasyVoice API key. OpenAI's six voice names work as they are (a free key can use nova only); the Kokoro equivalents are listed in the migration guide. There is no streaming endpoint: each request returns the complete audio file.
Is there a free API tier?
Yes. A free account's API key gets 5,000 characters a day (one pool shared with the web app), the 12 free voices, 20 requests a minute and 2 concurrent requests. No card required.
What are the Pro API limits?
60 requests a minute with no per-key concurrency cap, up to 50,000 characters per request with a Kokoro voice (12,000 for Arabic, 2,000 for cloned voices), the Jobs API for longer text, and a fair use of 10M characters per rolling 30 days — past it the account is slowed, never an overage charge. Reselling API access or running a voice service for others needs our written permission.
